How To Make Money from Mobile Traffic Sources
So, just in case you didn't know, mobile traffic is HUGE!
Mobile traffic is views to your website or blog from a mobile device, over half of all online traffic now comes from people using a mobile phone to visit a website and it is growing everyday.
So what does that mean for anyone trying to make money from their website or blog which receives lots of mobile traffic? The short answer, until now, is that they will be experiencing lower earnings, lower CTR and fewer sales.
When I'm looking over my earnings from Google Adsense and my Amazon Associate sales, 99% of my earnings comes from people viewing my content from a PC and the money I make from mobile traffic probably doesn't even cover the cost of electricity to power my computer!

If you look at the conversion rate you will see it is 22%, in the Internet Marketing world anything above 3%-4% is considered good, 22% is amazing and I have seen other affiliates who are getting conversion rates of 35% and higher!
So how does it work exactly and how can I start making money from my mobile traffic today?
Good question. Here is the answer.
Simply sign up to OgAds, you will need to provide your website/blog URL and Skype ID, if you don't have Skype just download it for free from the Apps Store or Google Play Store, make a free account and add one of the OgMobi representative and send them a quick message with your OgAds username to get your account approved. When you fill out the application form you must tell them how you plan on driving traffic, if you use Social media or email marketing or just rely on organic SEO search traffic just tell them. I have found they are pretty open to most methods.
As soon as your account gets approved you just create a content locker and you will be given a little snippet of HTML to copy and paste in to your website's header. This might sound complicated but it is really easy, if you have any trouble doing this just post a comment below and if lots of people are having trouble I will make a quick video. Once it is done you can just forget about it and watch the money start coming in.
You can also just create a 'link locker' which is even easier. So if you had a movie website and a visitor wanted to watch or download a movie from your website you would have a 'Click Here To Watch' link, you would then 'content lock' that link, the visitor would have to download an App to be able to watch the movie and you would earn something from it!
So what does a Content Locker look like?
Another good question!
So when a visitor tries to look at your site from a mobile device they will be presented with the screen shown below. They will have to download a free App and run it for 30 seconds and then they will be taken to the content you have locked. As I said earlier, you will earn between $0.30 and $12.00 for each App downloaded!
I have now changed tactics and I content lock individual parts of my site rather than the entire site itself. I have found this to be more profitable, I can show visitors that I have quality content on my site but if they really want the good content they are going to have to 'pay' by downloading a free App!
Now you can lock the entire site like I have OR just lock certain pages/links/videos on your site. i.e. Visitors can view your site, read what you have written but just lock one part of your site, if you write about game cheats and tricks you can give visitors some information for free but 'Content Lock' the cheats you know your visitors really want.
Just to show you a real working content locker I have created one, since writing this post OgAds has desktop offers too now, so even if most of your traffic is mobile you won't lose anything from the occational Laptop/Desktop user.
